Mexico Expands Renewable-Energy Storage Through Major Solar Battery Agreement

On 3 November, China’s CATL announced an agreement to supply a 313 MW / 1,639.45 MWh battery energy-storage system for the La Alegría Solar project in Campeche, developed by Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners. The contract value was not disclosed. The project supports renewable-energy integration and grid stability.
